Can you accommodate special diets or dietary restrictions?
Yes! As a personal service, if you are gluten free, low FODMAP, anti-inflammatory, have an allergy, or anything of the sort the menu will be customized to your needs.
Do you only do vegan food?
Yes. Savor and soul caters to plant based needs. Flavor and nutrient balance is always there!
Where is the food prepared?
Personal chef meal prep is an in your home service personal to you. Chef Rachel does the shopping for you, comes to cook in your home, and packages the food where she leaves it in your refrigerator all set for your enjoyment.
Do I need to be home for the service?
No! After the initial introduction with Rachel and the scheduling we will sort out what time works best. Chef Rachel will cook and clean in home whether your’e there and want to relax or do your own thing, or if you’re out and she will safely follow your instructions and food will be all set and ready when you arrive.
How long does the cook day take?
Grocery shopping is done by Rachel the day of your cook day. The time in your kitchen including cooking and clean up takes about 3-5 hours depending on the meals planned.
What is the frequency of meal prep service?
Typically a weekly service is the standard. Some clients may coordinate bi-weekly or monthly services.
What is the cost for personal chef services?
This depends on the meal package you select. The more meals you want the more it will cost. It may range from about $350-500 for the entire week.
How do you accept payment?
An invoice will be emailed to you for the service and payment is accepted via Zelle or cash. Groceries are reimbursed to Chef Rachel after shopping occurs.
Does the chef provide equipment?
In home meal prep chef requires the use of your kitchen equipment. You should have basics such as pots and pans, sheet pans, mixing bowls, utensils, and cutting boards.
