About Rachel

Savor and Soul is founded and run by NYC native Rachel Armstrong. Her passion for food, well-being, and life is what sparked the idea for this business. Since she was old enough to stir a spoon, Rachel has been perfecting her craft of cooking and has loved being in the kitchen. Her passion for bringing others good experiences, combined with a talent and love for cooking, gave her the idea to provide a service where others can savor culinary delights and keep time for what matters to them most. Her personal chef services are not only about food but also about giving the client the gift of saved time and enjoyable moments. Savor and Soul is about making tasty, elevated, and balanced vegan food available to those who wish to incorporate it into their lives but may not have the time or resources to do it themselves. Savor and Soul is a one-woman, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+-owned and operated business. 

Having lived eight years with a plant-based lifestyle and with many years of experience in the events and hospitality industry, she’s excited to bring a vegan experience of her own to your table. 

Rachel is certified with the NYC Food Protection Certification card for food safety and handling.
